Qualifying my horses this year has been a dream come true. For me it have been a vertical learn but thanks to Tim’s very clear direction and communication while teaching and coaching, he has given me a confidence and vision to aim for the highest result. Understanding the horse’s way of going is a fundamental requisite and Tim just offers it all. My team would not be complete without him.
Tim taught me since I first came to the UK in 1999 to compete. He helped me to bring my horse through to Advanced level – a horse that subsequently competed at the highest level in the United States and Canada. Since I have returned to Canada, Tim has been a regular visitor, giving clinics to a range of riders in the Alberta region. I value his advice and look forward to all his visits.
I have been delighted with the results of Tim’s work training my two horses. Tim’s vast knowledge and expertise enables him to immediately pinpoint the reason for a problem and pick a solution most likely to resolve the issue. I like Tim’s warm and personable style and the fact that all his training methods are uniquely tailored to the individual horse.
Tim is my riding teacher since a couple of years, and he is the best I ever had. I can recommend Tim strongly as a rider and as a teacher. He does have a great feeling with horses and never loses his temper. Looking forward to have him on my side for many more years!
Tim helped me make the transition from pony club eventer/show jumper to Medium level dressage competitor, quickly becoming a trusted member of our competitive team and turning me into a much more thinking and empathetic rider & developing my young horse
Tim is one of the best and nicest trainers I have ever worked with. He has a way of relaxing both rider and horse and getting more from either than any other. He stretches your riding ability and you have fun as well.
Tim’s encouraging, considered teaching style is a great fit for me and he’s helped me find a riding position that balances maximising my horse’s potential with accommodating my old injuries. Just three months after I started having lessons with Tim I’d found another ‘gear’ to my all-rounder Welsh D and achieved 65% at my first affiliated competition.
I have been training with Tim since the middle of 2013 and have already seen great progress. We have seen a great improvement in our BD scores and now we are ready to move on up the levels. Tim has a great sense of humour and always makes our training fun as well as pushing us both to get the best out of us.
I worked with Tim in 2010 when I bought my first horse. He is a genuinely nice guy; calm, encouraging, knowledgable and patient, always finding the right method that gets results. Would recommend.
